Advanced:  Students will take a test on Chapter 17, the Industrial Revolution.  Students have created their own study guides.  They have accumulated notes and term definitions over the past 2 weeks.  Check out the vocabulary page on this website to help review for the test!

Honors:

Honors classes will be using a technique called DBQ.  DBQ stands for Data Based Questioning.  It is an approach in which students use higher level thinking in order to analyze evidence, or data.  We will be looking at primary and secondary sources in order to gain more knowledge about workers during the Industrial Revolution.  Students will be writing a paper in which they will have a thesis statement which addresses following question;  Female Mill Workers in England and Japan: How Similar Were Their Experiences?
